Association to Benefit Children Instructor Christina Gould

Christina Gould has worked for the Association to Benefit Children in New York City as a home-based special instructor since 2013. Her duties in this position involve providing one-on-one education to children living with special needs. Christina Gould has extensive experience with the development and implementation of individualized family service plans (IFSPs), which includes discussing IFSPs with all family members and ensuring they maintain routines and learning strategies.

In 2015, Christina Gould expanded her professional activities by joining the Keith Haring School as the facility’s program director. She maintains a range of leadership responsibilities in this position, from supervising the staff to supporting students via developmentally appropriate practices rooted in the latest research.

Christina Gould holds a master of science in early childhood education and special education from the Hunter College School of Education. She studied French as an undergraduate at Tufts University. A certified mandated reporter, she also achieved numerous professional certifications that serve her in her work at the Association to Benefit Children and the Keith Haring School. These certifications range from CPR/First Aid/AED certification to abusive head trauma prevention and sudden infant death syndrome training.
